Innovation & Cinema: “Baby Boom”
10/13/2016 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pmFree
Innovation & Cinema is back with a must-see fall line-up. Grab a blanket and head to Bailey Park for a free screening of “Baby Boom,” featuring commentary from InnovateHER.
Remember the “Tiger Lady?” Diane Keaton’s 1987 romantic comedy set a new template for how women were portrayed in the workplace as it tackled barriers working women and mothers continue to face today. InnovateHER provides opening commentary highlighting these challenges and gives insight into their work to help women launch, fund and grow successful businesses on their own terms.
Join us on the upper lawn of Bailey Park for this family-friendly feature film. Grab dinner from a local food truck, a cold beverage from Hoots Roller Bar & Beer Co. or some fresh popcorn courtesy of a/perture cinema.
Innovation & Cinema, brought to you by Wake Forest Innovation Quarter in partnership with a/perture cinema, is a free film series that explores the relationship between innovation and the world in which we live. Each film is creatively paired with a topic that reflects a local business or organization. The Fall 2016 season films, sponsored by Bob King Automotive Group, include:
Thursday, October 6
