Bailey Movie Night

“Creation is an act of sheer will.”

Can you name the film this quote was derived? It’s a classic line from the Hollywood blockbuster “Jurassic Park,” the first film shown in Innovation Quarter’s Bailey Movie Night series, which kicked off last Saturday in Bailey Park.

Tenants, colleagues and community residents arrived in Bailey Park with their blankets and chairs in tow to join together and enjoy outdoor theatre.  The movie series is the first in what Innovation Quarter hopes is an annual program.

“We want to bring awareness to our community that Innovation Quarter is more than a place to work. It’s a place to play, and the programming we’ve kicked off in Bailey Park is a perfect example of that,” said Lindsey Yarborough, manager of public activities for Wake Forest Innovation Quarter.

The series, which ends Saturday, September 21st with “The Goonies,” is completely free and open to the public. Pets are welcome (as long as they are on a leash) and food and beverages from local vendors are available for purchase on-site.
