Bailey Beats: Katie Blvd

North Carolina native Katie Blvd is kicking off the 2025 Bailey Beats season this month with her signature smoky-sweet voice and early hip hop-inspired musical stylings.

Sharing music—especially live music—is an inherently vulnerable thing, and Katie leans into that reality with lyrics she hopes will help listeners get to know who she truly is and maybe even leave a bit changed themselves. As a singer-songwriter, beatmaker, and DJ, Katie writes music inspired by the topics of diversity, personal discovery, and the fight against social norms.
Be part of that beautifully vulnerable magic on the terraced upper lawn of Bailey Park as Katie and her full band takes the Bailey Park stage. Truly: Is there a better way to enjoy a late spring evening?

Plan to support not just local musicians, but local chefs and brewers as well! Come hungry and visit vendors set up in the park, including Incendiary Brewing Company for adult beverages. Food and drinks will be available for purchase starting at 5 p.m.

Outside alcohol is prohibited, but you are welcome to bring outside food to enjoy at the event. Plan to bring your own seating—a blanket or low-backed chair so everyone can see well. If your music-loving dog comes along, please make sure they’re on a leash.
