The Promenade “A Suite & Tie Thing” Adult Prom

The Promenade “A Suite & Tie Thing” Adult Prom is a fundraiser for Silver Lining Youth Services’ STARS Program (Students Taking Action Reaching Success). SLYS, in partnership with the Center for the Study of Economic Mobility on the campus of Winston-Salem State University (CSEM), offers its services to high school students enrolled at Carver High School in Winston-Salem. This second annual adult prom will be held at the Wake Forest Biotech Place Atrium on April 25, 2020. Proceeds from the event will benefit the STARS Program and ongoing mentoring activities. In addition, a scholarship fund will be created to offset the cost of participation in meaningful sports activities and to purchase sports equipment for the athletic program at Carver High School.
