Wake Forest Biotech Place
Wake Forest Biotech Place, a former tobacco manufacturing facility, now drives technology and medical innovation. Home to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center research labs, Wake Forest Innovation Quarter and private businesses; it also includes a conference center on the first floor. The conference center offers 15 event spaces, including a 120-person Auditorium and a large Atrium that can accommodate up to 500 people.

The Auditorium is designed for large group meetings and presentations with fixed theater-style seating. It holds 120 people and is equipped with video teleconferencing and standard A/V capabilities.
The 7,500-square-foot Atrium offers flexible seating and room capacity dependent on configuration. A 14-foot screen with stereo sound is ideal for large group presentations or videos. The three-story high glass ceiling transforms the space into a modern and airy environment.
Biotech Place offers 12 conference rooms with flexible and fixed seating. There are five 20-person flexible suites (which can be turned into two 50-person rooms) and four 12-person boardrooms. Each room is equipped with full A/V systems.
To reserve conference center space at Wake Forest Biotech Place, please submit your request through the online reservation request form. Room reservations are requested one-month in advance of event. Requests are subject to approval on a case-by-case basis.

Bailey Park consists of 1.6 acres of green space located on N. Patterson Avenue between Fourth and Fifth Streets. Park amenities include a covered stage, restrooms, a food truck court and a large lawn suitable for a variety of recreational activities. The park is rentable for business or community events.

Flywheel Coworking at CDI
Flywheel is a coworking space that offers space and community environment for new and existing businesses to learn, connect, share and grow. Located within the Center for Design Innovation, Flywheel offers unique and flexible workspaces—both open and enclosed—meeting rooms and large event spaces to accommodate a variety of activities.
The IQ Court is a multi-purpose space that can be used as a program room, auditorium or general event space. The Court offers flexible seating configurations and seats 90 people in an auditorium setting and 40 people in a classroom style with chairs and tables. The space comes with white boards, large screens and two projectors. The IQ Court is located on the third floor of Flywheel.
The Atrium is located on the second floor of Flywheel and has numerous layouts available for reception, auditorium, small groups and functions. The Atrium includes a 70-inch movable flat screen for presentations and a full kitchen adjacent to the space that is available.
Flywheel has three conference rooms with 70-inch monitors, whiteboards and conference telephones. Each room has a variety of seating configurations from a five-person meeting space, a 12-person room and an 18-28-person space.

Wake Forest Innovation Quarter reserves the right to limit the use of conference space to those organizations hosting programs or events that are consistent with Wake Forest Innovation Quarter’s mission of driving economic growth and building a vibrant community. Typical events include, but not limited to, those focused on life science research, technology development and commercialization, entrepreneurship, business development and community affairs.

Parking availability is limited and will be discussed as a follow-up to the reservation request. Parking availability is determined based on day and time of event and may require the use of public parking decks adjacent to the Innovation Quarter.

Space rates vary per event. For inquiries into Biotech Place or Bailey Park please submit a Request for Quote to see if one of these spaces is a fit for your event. For all other spaces, please follow the links above to the individual organization for further inquiry.
