HUSTLE Night is a monthly gathering to enhance inclusive entrepreneurship. Join us for an evening of networking, impact learning and community building. Each month we gather for a HUSTLE story, an innovation sprint or an interactive workshop on a relevant business topic.

HUSTLE’s mission is to help grow the local economy by accelerating underrepresented entrepreneurs with a focus on women, people of color and marginalized business districts.

Do you want to make more money with your business? Are you willing to think outside the box?

In this unique lunchtime series, we will explore innovative and radical ideas for marketing your business. Each week, we will introduce you to a new cutting-edge (but proven) marketing strategy or technology to help you attract, retain and increase revenue from customers. Bring your own bag (or box) lunch to enjoy while you learn.

Enjoy a free reading of “Succession” by playwright Charles L. White, part of the Living Room Theatre Reading Series.

About “Succession”: When Marcus Chandler, a veteran of Black Theatre, meets Steven Harrison, a promising young actor, he appears to be a fan looking for mentorship. Or is he? As Marcus ruins his closest relationships in the business, Steve uses his charm to undermine him and advance to Broadway. But can he maintain his success with so many enemies? Will Marcus repair his connections to make a comeback? Succession follows their journey as they struggle against each other to realize their ambitions.

About Living Room Theatre: Living Room Theatre, a NC Black Rep outreach program, was created by Larry Leon Hamlin. From October 2019 through March 2020, NC Black Rep will produce one staged reading per month of new plays by nationally recognized up-and-coming writers at locations throughout the city of Winston-Salem. The readings will be free to the public and target underserved members of the community such as the elderly, the LGBT community, low-income residents, and others who may not otherwise have access or the means to enjoy live theatre, and whose stories are often marginalized by society.
