Park Hangs: Coconut Cake

Bring some shakers and your dancing shoes to Park Hangs this month to experience an upbeat dance party with Coconut Cake on August 21.

The Coconut Cake ensemble is known for their cheerful Congolese rumba and African dance music that is sure to tempt even the most reluctant dancer onto the dance floor. You won’t be able to resist moving along with their bold rhythms.

The iQ is partnering with NCMA Winston-Salem to bring the Park Hangs concert series to Bailey Park, sponsored in part by Atwell Ford Real Estate.

Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors in the park. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or purchase food from your favorite iQ restaurant. Doors will open with food truck service at 5 pm. Music starts at 6 pm and lasts until 8 pm.

Drinks from Incendiary Brewing will be available for purchase near Bailey Park’s food truck court. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

To keep the concert visible for everyone, please bring a blanket or a low-backed chair to enjoy the music. Bring your dancing dogs, but be sure to keep them on a leash throughout the event.

In the case of inclement weather, cancellations will be announced via social media by 4 pm on the day of the event.
