Park Hangs: Real Companion

Get ready for the unconventional when the alternative rock of Real Companion arrives at Park Hangs on October 16.

Boone, North Carolina-based duo Seth Sullivan and Derek Wycoff perform rock with a touch of folk and experimental. Their music explores serious themes of sobriety, fatherhood, and, yes, existential dread but still gets you in the groove with their alternative rock music.

The iQ is partnering with NCMA Winston-Salem to bring the Park Hangs concert series to Bailey Park, sponsored in part by Atwell Ford Real Estate.

Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors in the park. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or purchase food from your favorite iQ restaurant. Doors will open with food truck service at 5 pm. Music starts at 6 pm and lasts until 8 pm.

Drinks from Incendiary Brewing will be available for purchase near Bailey Park’s food truck court. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

To keep the concert visible for everyone, please bring a blanket or a low-backed chair to enjoy the music. Bring your music-loving dogs, but be sure to keep them on a leash throughout the event.

In the case of inclement weather, cancellations will be announced via social media by 4 pm on the day of the event.
