Wake-Up Walk & 5k

Family Services’ works to ensure that all children can wake up safe in their home and neighborhood, ready to succeed in school and supported within a strong family.
Approximately 24,000 children under the age of five live in Forsyth County. Too many of them do not wake up this way.
Here’s the good news. Every step we take together has the power to close the opportunity gap that is keeping too many of our children from reaching their full potential.
That’s why we are asking you to run, walk, support, encourage and donate – to eliminate the constant stress and pressures of living in poverty for one-third of local children, under 5 years of age.
