The Science of Winston-Salem STEM Docent Workshop

Are you a scientist who would like to better communicate your research to the general public? Are you a student or professional who works or volunteers with youth who would benefit from exposure to topics in STEM? Or maybe you’re just curious about The Science of Winston-Salem? Then join us for our first TSO WS STEM Docent workshop! This workshop is the first in a series that will prepare you to enter the Winston-Salem community as an educational asset to both youth and adults.
Most importantly, you will learn how to make STEM fun and engaging! You will also learn about opportunities to work with The Science of Winston-Salem and gain practical skills. This includes an introduction to collecting some of the critical evaluation data needed to determine if learning is occurring through events and activities.
