Maya Angelou Garden Party

Wake Downtown is incredibly excited to announce the return of an in-person Maya Angelou Garden Party! Each year, this event is free and open to both the public and the broader community to honor Dr. Maya Angelou through a celebration of community, storytelling, and art! Join in for poetry readings and spoken word performances or sign up to be a performer yourself!

Food, music, and lawn games are all also part of the fun.
