Innovation & Cinema: Remember the Titans
Friday night lights will shine in Bailey Park for the September installment of the 2019 Innovation & Cinema series, “Remember the Titans” (PG). Based on a true story, this heart-tugging film tells of a newly integrated Virginia high school and the African-American coach (Denzel Washington) appointed to bring his football team together.
“Doors” will open at 6:30 pm with food pre-show trivia, a photobooth, popcorn and additional food for purchase from Camel City Grill, Pacific Rim and Alma Mexicana’s Taco Pack in the Park. Beer and wine will also be available from Incendiary Brewing. Please note the movie will begin approximately one hour later after sunset.
No outside alcohol is permitted in Bailey Park. Dogs are allowed, but must remain leashed. Parking is available in the Link Apartments Parking Deck, located on E. Sixth Street and Patterson Avenue.
