Innovation & Cinema: Speed Racer

Race, don’t speed to Bailey Park for this family-focused racing adventure movie on September 11. In the world of Speed Racer, racing is a family business. Support Speed along with his family when he catches the ire of a corrupt corporation and must not only win, but survive.

This fun sci-fi installment of the Innovation & Cinema series in Bailey Park is brought to you by Innovation Quarter & a/perture cinema.

Speed Racer will start at sunset (approximately 7:45 pm). Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors in the park one hour before the event. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or purchase food from your favorite iQ restaurant.

Drinks from Incendiary Brewing will be available for purchase near Bailey Park’s food truck court. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

To keep the daredevil racing visible for everyone, please bring a blanket or a low-backed chair to enjoy the movie. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a leash throughout the event.

In the case of inclement weather, screening changes will be announced via social media by 4 pm on the day of the event.
