Innovation & Cinema: Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

This joke-filled Nascar racing movie stars Will Ferrell at his best. The variety of gags and bits will have the whole family laughing, and the movie brings a surprisingly touching message about the value of family and friendship. This comedic installment of the Innovation & Cinema Series in Bailey Park is brought to you by Innovation Quarter and a/perture cinema.

Talladega Nights will start at sunset (approximately 8:35 p.m.) on May 15. Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors in the park one hour before the event. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or purchase food from your favorite iQ restaurant.

Drinks from Incendiary Brewing will be available for purchase near Bailey Park’s food truck court. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

To keep the jokes visible for everyone, please bring a blanket or a low-backed chair to enjoy the movie. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a leash throughout the event.

In the case of inclement weather, screening changes will be announced via social media by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
