Park Hangs: Blue Cactus
April 24 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeDon’t miss the first concert in the iQ’s new Signature Event series, Park Hangs!
North Carolina Museum of Art Winston-Salem is partnering with the iQ to bring its concert series House Hangs to Bailey Park, thanks in part to Atwell Ford Real Estate, a sponsor of Park Hangs.
This new concert series provides an opportunity to hang with your crew in Bailey Park while enjoying the music of local and regional artists.
Kicking off the new series is Blue Cactus, hailing from Chapel Hill. While getting started in honky-tonk, the band developed a twang of its own that pulls from folk, alt-country, and rock ‘n’ roll to create a sound that connects with audiences around the country.
Pull up a picnic blanket and connect with friends for Park Hangs. Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors in the park. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or purchase food from your favorite iQ restaurant.
Drinks from Incendiary Brewing will be available for purchase near Bailey Park’s food truck court. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
To keep the concert visible for everyone, please bring a blanket or a low-backed chair to enjoy the concert. Furry friends are welcome to hang out, too, but make sure they are leashed throughout the event.
In the case of inclement weather, cancellations will be announced via social media by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
