Park Hangs: Kenny Wavinson

FreeJam out and relax to Kenny Wavinson’s nostalgic beats at Park Hangs on July 24. Wavison’s lo-fi and indie rock songs are perfect for unwinding with friends at the end of the week.
The Greensboro-based singer/songwriter’s Lakewater Rock incorporates influences such as Mac DeMarco and Real Estate to bring you a relaxed and emotional experience that draws on his childhood in North Carolina.
The iQ is partnering with NCMA Winston-Salem to bring the Park Hangs concert series to Bailey Park this season, sponsored in part by Atwell Ford Real Estate.
Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors in the park. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or purchase food from your favorite iQ restaurant. Doors will open with food truck service at 5 pm. Music starts at 6 pm and lasts until 8 pm.
Drinks from Incendiary Brewing will be available for purchase near Bailey Park’s food truck court. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
To keep the concert visible for everyone, please bring a blanket or a low-backed chair to enjoy the music. Furry friends are welcome to hang out, too, but make sure they are leashed throughout the event.
In the case of inclement weather, cancellations will be announced via social media by 4 pm on the day of the event.
