[Socially Distanced] Bench Community Build at MIXXER

Build a bench in under two hours during this community build event! You’ll learn basic tool safety, check out the MIXXER maker space facility, and construct a basic bench from 2x4s and deck screws. The benches will be part of International Park(ing) Day on September 18, transforming parking spaces in downtown Winston-Salem into temporary mini-parks. Everyone ages 14+ is welcome. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Masks and social distancing required. Temperature checks. Build will be outside on the patio.
