The second annual LeanBack Soul Food Thanksgiving event took place at Bailey Park this past Saturday to provide turkey, chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, cookies and bottled water to Winston-Salem community members — at no cost. LeanBack Soul Food chef, owner and event organizer Crissy Faison says she considers it her way of giving back to a community that’s given so much to her.
