Free kite-making workshops, kits and craft supplies will be available at Winston-Salem’s 17 recreation centers for residents interested in taking place in the city’s inaugural Flight Festival. On June 15th, participants will have a chance to fly the kites they create in an effort to get people outside, showcase local aviation resources and teach people about flying.
