As people work, live, learn and play in Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, its officials are exploring the next phase of development for this urban-based innovation district. The Innovation Quarter sits on 337 acres in the eastern part of downtown Winston-Salem, is an initiative of Wake Forest School of Medicine and is home to many workers, students, companies, mixed-use developments and institutions.
